Books, Books and...BOOKS!

As I'm sitting here trying to expend some nervous energy and keep myself busy {I'm just so excited about starting school tomorrow!!!} I thought I'd share with you some of our FAVORITE books!  I may or may not have a spending problem when it comes to buying books for the boys :)

Hope you enjoy the list and if you have any favorites you'd like to share, please do!

{This is our current favorite.  The boys LOVE it and Isaiah is outside as we speak in his jeans, cowboy boots and hat and Elijah is in pajamas with cowboys on them :)}

You Are Special by Max Lucado

Otis by Loren Long
{All of the books in this series are great.}

Harold and the Purple Crayon by Crockett Johnson
{This one never gets old in our house!}

Ox Cart Man by Donald Hall
Little Bear Treasury by Else Holmelund Minarik

Mouse Soup by Arnold Lobel

The Pokey Little Puppy's First Christmas - a Little Golden Book
{this is currently one of Elijah's favorites :)}

Teddy's Button retold by Mark Hamby
{This is an AMAZING book}

Dangerous Journey:  The Story of Pilgrims Progress
{Uses the original words of John Bunyan, carefully selected by Oliver Hunkin}

I know each of these books will be lifelong favorites for our family.  Each one has such sweet memories.
