The Boys Book Picks: Take Two!

Hi, friends!

This last school year was once again filled with lots of great books.  Our Little House series came to an end *sniff sniff* and we jumped right in to another classic series--The Chronicles of Narnia.  If you haven't read these with the fam yet it's a must!  The boys fell in love--and so did Mom and Dad. SO. GOOD.

Below are the boys Top 4 personal favorites from this year plus their two favorite Christmas books:

Isaiah

Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl

The BFG by Roald Dahl

James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl

Percy Jackson:  The Lightening Thief by Rick Riordan

Elijah

The Nate the Great series by Marjorie Weinman Sharmat

Frog & Toad are Friends by Arnold Lobel

Mouse Tales by Arnold Lobel

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault
{this cracks me up because we've been reading this together every year since he was in pre-school..HA!}

Christmas Faves
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey by Susan Wojciechowski

We have some new books on our read aloud list that I'm super excited about!  First three on the list are:

The Railway Children by E. Nesbit
The Trumpet of the Swan by E.B. White
The Call of the Wild by Jack London

What are some of your family faves or favorites as a child?
